Without listening to any of the other victory speeches—and without a shadow of a doubt—I’ll say that the best electoral victory address was that of Ron DeSantis, who has handily won a second term as Florida’s governor.

Tuesday noon is when David Vance and your columnist pre-record a new segment of our Hard Truth podcast. Aired on Thursdays, Tuesday’s recording saw us discuss Trump’s venal attack on marvelous Governor DeSantis. It was then that I again pledged (LinkedIn came first) my 2024 vote in support of the governor, should he run for president.

We discussed Casey DeSantis, the governor’s gorgeous, regal wife, who is nothing like Ivanka and her houseboy, Kushner. Those two will traipse right back into saboteur positions at the White House with Daddy, who has never said no to his daughter.

‘Jarvanka’: Davos Before Deplorables

As with most of my assessments; I do not need the one about Boss Lady Ivanka’s cerebral acuity confirmed. It so happens that it has been amply seconded by some top men, as recounted in “Meet The Kushners: First Couple In-Waiting“:

“It’s quite clear that President Trump’s promise to hire only ‘the best’ ought to have begun with firing The Family. Instead, Mr. Kushner’s national security portfolio [had] expanded in a manner incommensurate with his skills. It [soon included] … China, Mexico, Iraq, Israel and Saudi Arabia.

The same can be said of Ivanka, who was soon briefing the South Korean president on sanctions against North Korea. That Ivanka lacked a permanent security clearance was the least of the country’s worries, given Steve Bannon’s assessment of her: ‘as dumb as a brick.’”

In no time at all had Jared and Ivanka Trump moved to consolidate power. This, as men like Steven Bannon and Stephen Miller were either fired, or confined to the basement, so to speak. Bannon was soon just a flinty glint in Ivanka’s eyes.

Indeed, political connections ensured that the two branding experts [Jared and Ivanka] beat Braveheart Bannon of the mighty Breitbart.com! ‘The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,’ he lamented, in August of 2017.

… ‘Jarvanka’ (the Jared-Ivanka organism) were also said to have orchestrated the ousting of the last of the old MAGA Guard, John Kelly, a most excellent man [take it from me]. Kelly took his role as chief of staff seriously. He was a hardliner who limited Ivanka’s access to Pater.

One of Trump’s superb personnel choices, Kelly’s fate, however, was sealed when he stated openly how sick-and-tired he was of the first daughter ‘playing government.’ The Goldman-Sachs wing of the White House, commandeered by the Kushners, had always wished him away. So, Kelly got the boot (or, rather, the Choo), too.

Of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, archconservative intellectual Heather Mac Donald observed the following:

Sessions was ‘the only member of the Trump administration who was absolutely staunch in speaking up for the right of Americans to determine what the character of their country should be.’

It takes a strong woman (Mac Donald) to recognize a scheming one (Ivanka).

Later, Heather Mac Donald was to express ‘no confidence’ that President Trump would stop being advised by his daughter, Ivanka Trump, on the issue of immigration.”

Ivanka had also vaporized Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, a tough ice-princess who instituted the zero-tolerance policy on the border and never caved over family separation.

Nothing will change should Trump waltz back into the White House. Ivanka is “The Donald’s peculiar problem.” “What Ivanka wants Ivanka gets.” Together, Jarvanka place Davos before The Deplorables.

From Day One, I had cheered “The Trump Revolution” and in particular, “The Donald’s Creative Destruction,” both components in the title to a book, published June 29, 2016. In it, Trump was celebrated as a “political Samson that threatened to bring the den of iniquity crashing down on its patrons. … An entrenched punditocracy, a self-anointed, meritless intelligentsia, oleaginous politicians, slick media, big money: You name it; Trump was tossing and goring it.”

I supported Donald Trump until he began to make nice with some of the most malignant neoconservatives around, bombed Syria for Ivanka, approved H-1B visas, and began firing and feuding with the architects of MAGA.

DeSantis: Principled Pragmatist

In Ron DeSantis we have a man who is acutely aware of the systemic rights violations to which Deplorables are subjected and is attempting to pragmatically govern in accordance with first principles.

Let us recount some of the ways:

When Texas’ Greg Abbott “flat-out banned vaccine requirements; Florida Gov. DeSantis quickly followed suit. Rejecting the jabs-for-jobs deformed public policy, DeSantis vowed to sue the Biden administration. These two governors have been unique in upholding natural, inalienable, individual rights—the right of self-ownership and bodily dominion.

As inoptimal as DeSantis’ “Big Tech” bill was—the governor was the only Republican to have proceeded against Deep Tech in any meaningful way.

The governor was also unique among powerful men to spring into actions on behalf of the Canadian Truckers for Freedom. The Canadian Truckers converged on Ottawa, early in 2022, to reclaim their Charter rights and protest Trudeau’s anti-constitutional Covid-driven apartheid.

GoFundMe is an American crowd-funding site. It had happily collected and distributed funds to detritus like BLM (Black Lives Matter), which, by the most basic of measures, are scum of the earth. Having received $9 million dollars in donations for the Canadian truckers, GoFundMe right away announced it would steal the funds and funnel them to charities of its choosing.

Here was a crime in progress. DeSantis’s response to the GoFundMe cyber-robbery was righteous, principled and proactive. He tweeted:

“It is a fraud for Go-Fund Me to commandeer $9M in donations sent to support truckers and give it to causes of their own choosing. I will work with AG Ashley Moody to investigate these deceptive practices — these donors should be given a refund.” The thieving outfit soon backtracked pursuant to DeSantis’ show of force.

And how is it that only Gov. Ron DeSantis grasps that it’s illegal for state attorneys, whose job description is to uphold the law, to nullify the very law they are paid to enforce?

As the only elected official smart and dedicated enough to grasp and govern in accordance with first principles, DeSantis fired State Attorney Andrew Warren for “effectively nullifying Florida’s criminal law.” Unheard of. The great governor of Florida has also been steadfast in accelerating his pipeline of criminal aliens to the affluent areas of the northeast.

Service To The Citizen; Not Emotion On Twitter

A DeSantis tweet invariably concerns not his emotions, but his duties and obligations to constituents operationalized.

Contrast a typical DeSantis tweet with one put out by, say, Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert. She by no means deserves to be singled out. Her Republican colleagues are no different.

To wit, voters don’t seem to expects our Republican representatives to work for their pay, as in improve our lives. Politics being an extension of the cellphone Selfie; a good TV appearance or a “feisty” tweet is considered as good as work. Consequently, our US elected representatives think their role is to tweet their outrage. Or, rant flamboyantly on Tucker Carlson Tonight.

In any event, both the TSA and the DHS (departments established by Genghis Bush Republicans, if memory serves) have decided to extend President Biden’s Proclamation banning unvaccinated non-citizens from entering the United States at least until January of 2023.

(Naturally, if you are among the millions crossing the Rio Grande illegally into the US, are of a swarthy complexion and can produce a current, up-to-date criminal record—low scores on IQ and literacy tests help, too—you may enter America no questions asked, all expenses covered.)

Boebert tweeted her outrage over the renewed ban. The end. If she and the rest of the Republicans were working for their pay, like DeSantis, she’d have tweeted along these lines:

“The ban is an outrage. It flouts all scientific evidence, hurts Americans by hampering business and social ties with friends and family across the world. I intend to call on x, y, z in TSA, DHS as well as biz representatives; also meet with the caucus … Will keep you posted…”

That’s DeSantis style service to the citizen. That’s also the text of a working representative.

But no. Colorado Representative Boebert, and most of her colleagues, conducts herself as though she’s just a popular girl tweeting out to her Deplorable followers on social media; just an outsider to power—one of us—when our representatives are the consummate insiders.

Notice too that no TV ego in an anchor’s chair ever quizzes these representatives thus:

“What are you doing about said urgent matter? Specify the steps you are taking for the people to repeal assorted Covid tyranny,” as an example.

Laziness notwithstanding, I suspect that the intellectual quality of our representatives and the voters has so degraded—that neither voter nor candidate knows the channels and ropes through which action is to be taken to rectify wrongs.

Not so Ron DeSantis. Both effective and highly intelligent, the man understands the federal scheme and knows how to pull the levers of power, having faithfully and forcefully done so for the people of Florida. Such an intellectual grasp evades Trump. Moreover, a vote for Trump in 2024 is a vote for the Jarvanka organism, or familial mutations of it. The family will be back in the People’s House, minus the MAGA agenda.

Thursday’s Hard Truth podcast with David Vance and your columnist further discusses DeSantis’ unique gifts vs. Trump’s.

Against a sinister, hellfire-and-brimstone background, outside Independence Hall, Philadelphia, flagged by Damien’s own foot soldiers—President Joe Biden convened to convulse against MAGA America in the tradition of Linda Blair of “The Exorcist” fame.

An inartful mouthful, perhaps, but so was Biden’s address.

The president of these disunited states has accused my fellow MAGA brothers and sister of constituting “a threat to [your] personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country. …Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic,” barked Biden.

“MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a free election, and they’re working right now as I speak … to undermine democracy itself,” the addled-brained demon of a man added.

The only fitting verbal response to such unmitigated hate speech are the fighting words of Andrew Breitbart:

Fuck you, war.”

Were I a politician serving my MAGA constituents, I’d right away launch a complaint with the civil rights division of the Department of Justice. My brief would accuse Biden, a man with considerable sway, of inciting hatred against millions of his countrymen.

The correlation between being a MAGA normie and losing your job, your banking and free-speech privileges, and being kicked out of the offices of medical malpractitioners is likely statistically significant.

It is this kind of political theater and activism that the lethal Democrats understand, fear and respect. But the GOP is too slothful and stupid to think agilely.

The Unbearable Lightness Of Being GOP

As expected, “Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., remained silent regarding President Joe Biden’s libeling of ‘MAGA Republicans’ as a threat to the republic.”

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., ought to have remained silent.

McCarthy’s response to the hate heaped on MAGA America was to weakly meander about good Americans “wanting to revive the can-do spirit that this country is founded on.” He also mumbled that, “instead of trying to bring our country together…President Biden has chosen to divide, demean, and disparage his fellow Americans … because they disagree with his policies.”

Meekly did McCarthy suggest  that, “the first lines out of Biden’s mouth should be to apologize for slandering tens of millions of Americans as fascists.”

Is that all you’ve got, you political and philosophical eunuch?

“Unite us, say you’re sorry, kiss better”? This is baby talk, Rep. McCarthy. It is the language of love; not the language one reserves for a hater.

More to the point: Do MAGA folks want an apology from Biden—a hissing, ossified, atrophying degenerate who despises them? An insincere apology is a poor substitute for justice.

More than because we disagree with Democrat policies, if you can call them policies, democrats revile MAGA Americans for our core values. They hate us for our hue, and for who we are as human beings. They want to break us. They want us gone.

Amid the collapse of the American civilization, as has been noted, Republicans continue to concern themselves most with the enemy’s embryos. To follow on their futile fetus fetish is Sen. Lindsey Graham’s proposal for a national ban on abortion.

Why now before the midterms? Because Graham is not on the ballot. He won reelection in 2020. His current term ends on Jan. 3, 2027. That—and because Graham relates to patriotism in the way “Hanoi” John McCain relates to Vietnam War POWs and men missing inaction: not at all.

Low-grade civil war is underway, certainly by emboldened blacks against learned-helpless whites. But in my state of Washington, the lukewarm ads Republicans are running revolve around comfortable kitchen-table issues: inflation, taxation, state spending, and cost of living. The end.

To that end, run-of-the-mill Republican Mike Huckabee seconded the “gasoline, groceries and God” campaign message as exhaustive.

That’s the GOP. Running on safe economic issues, looking-away from matters of life-and-death.

These are:

* Black-on-white hate crimes sanctioned.
* Institutionalized antiwhite indoctrination.
* Learned helplessness inculcated in whites through hostile institutions, abetted by parents, pedagogues and politicians. (Ongoing, see “Sacrificing Kids To PC Pietism” written in 2011.)
* Violating the law of the land by inverting morality—rewarding evil, punishing good—in violation also of natural and constitutional rights.
* Continued Covid tyranny as a means of ferreting out and isolating the populist Right.
* The systemic silencing, deplatforming and depersoning of MAGA America, via loss of work, speech rights, and banking privileges, courtesy of  Deep Tech, in collusion with the state.
* No right or democratic opportunity to defend against these depredations.

On these defining issues the GOP is relatively silent.

The coup de grâce: Swamping the host population with a sea of migrants to better perpetuate and entrench the treason listed above.

Contemporary Sodom And Gomorrah

Crime in Washington State, rampant in the demographically predisposed cities  and spreading, remains a look-away issue.

The fear among ordinary people, left and right, is not so much of crime—with us since the dawn of mankind—but fear of the repercussions of crime rewarded, biblical and universal values turned topsy-turvy.

To the extent they conceptualize about these matters, ordinary Americans dread an America where good is bad and bad is good, and where evil individuals are rewarded and reinforced in their murderous and thieving ways, so that the righteous suffer and the wicked prosper.

Home owners and home dwellers alike share a middle-class culture. Left and right, all live in fear of the encroachment of the chaotic, craven, now-quintessentially American homeless counterculture.

Again: On these defining issues the GOP is relatively silent.

Thus will the Democrat machine win many a winnable joust, as we no longer debate.

The Democrats are attacking her person because they are “losing the debate,” claims Kari Lake. Together with every other GOPer, this super-nice lady, who is vying to be governor of Arizona, repeats this Republican cliche.

Likewise Richard Grenell, Donald Trump’s administration’s honorary gay man, tweeted out that “This blood red setting and negative complaining about political opponents means one thing – Joe Biden is really nervous that Donald Trump is going to run again.”

In this same jocular, jovial, good-natured, aw, shucks Republicanism—funny man Greg Guttfeld counseled MAGA America to stay amicable and calm; to take Biden’s hate in stride. Stay cool.

Why are Republicans unable to understand that the Idiocracy, boobus Americanus, no longer warms to or absorbs debate, argument. It is political theater and extra-constitutional terrorism that the Democrats have mastered. This is what Republicans must meet, match and best.

We Americans are living in a contemporary Sodom and Gomorrah. And what did Kevin McCarthy promise the chronically incurious Laura Ingraham, on her Sep. 14 slot? Drum roll: Republicans will assign a bad score to the bad prosecutors.

The bad prosecutors, whose true constituents are the country’s empowered criminal class, are not shaking in their weekend Birkenstocks, sir. They are shaking from laughter. At the Republicans.

For the “bad prosecutors” operate not above the law, but outside the law and against the law. The bad prosecutors are outlaws. Simple.

How is that only Gov. Ron DeSantis grasps that it’s illegal for state attorneys, whose job description is to uphold the law, to nullify the very law they are paid to enforce?

As the only elected official smart and dedicated enough to grasp and govern in accordance with first principles, DeSantis fired State Attorney Andrew Warren for “effectively nullifying Florida’s criminal law.

In this spirit, the great governor of Florida must be steadfast and accelerate his pipeline of criminal aliens to the affluent areas of the northeast. Not 50, Gov. DeSantis, but 50 thousand, 500 thousand and counting.

For the following is not what “losing” looks like:

The migrants of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, now have civil rights attorneys, arrayed against Gov. DeSantis. The protesters of January 6 don’t so much as have decent attorneys. That’s all you need to know about the Republicans’ fealty to their own.

Rest assured that migrant legal representation is likely backed by Democrats.

It is not so much that Democrats dislike these immigrants, although true; it is that they will not allow Republicans to win without punishment. Mess with powerful progressives by bringing the border to their backyard—and they’ll perp walk you.

The Democrats fight like men and women possessed. The Republicans take the position a man takes in a gay bathhouse.

Sued by foreign scofflaws and investigated by their Democratic backers—Gov. DeSantis has promised “more flights” and more buses to come, to the cheers and applause of his supporters.

May The Force be with him.

For the rest, the unbearable lightness of being GOP means that Republican representatives can’t, for the most, conceive of the demonic forces marshaled against MAGA America.

One must be truly good to conceive of true evil — and that the good governor most certainly is.

It matters not that the few “Republican governors crusading against vaccine mandates are [allegedly] facing significantly lower approval ratings on their handling of the coronavirus pandemic than their counterparts,” as Politico purports. (Don’t believe Politico!)

What matters are governors like Texas’ Greg Abbott, who “flat-out banned vaccine requirements, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, followed up by vowing to sue the Biden administration.”

These two governors are unique in upholding natural, inalienable, individual rights—the right of self-ownership, bodily dominion; the stuff mocked by President Joe Biden, wearing a ghoulish grin.

Biden’s remark came at a recent, highly contrived CNN townhall, during which “moderator Anderson Cooper noted that as many as one in three emergency responders in some major cities are refusing to comply with city vaccine mandates.”

“I’m wondering where you stand on that,” inquired Cooper. “Should police officers, first responders be mandated to get vaccines? And if not, should they be mandated to stay at home, let go?”

“Yes, and yes,” replied the president.

Disinterred for the day, Biden went on to mock the quaint notion of bodily autonomy with a demented quip, “I have the freedom to kill you with my COVID. I mean, come on, freedom.”

Were our representatives to frame the vexatious question of vaccine mandates in the correct language of natural rights—self-ownership and individual privacy—we’d get the right answers, more likely to be followed by rights-upholding legislation.

But are Republican representatives doing so? Are our representatives who art in D.C. doing anything but wait in Tucker Carlson’s green room?

When it comes to Covid-19, only the following arguments are permissible as an objection to the Covid vaccine mandate. “Exemptions from employer-mandated coronavirus vaccines [are] in [these] three general areas: natural immunity, religious objection, [and] medical objection.”

One hears also a perfectly calm case being made on the Left for outcome-based coercion: rights-violations work well to bring about vaccine-compliance, so let’s violate us some rights.

Dr. Leana Wen’s positions reveal the scandal of coercion:

Wen, an emergency physician and public health professor at George Washington University, said she approves of the administration’s push for employer-based mandates because “frankly nothing else was working.”

Nowhere is a rights-based argument being made, or an argument based on the right to question the safety of the vaccine. Nowhere are individual sovereignty and self-ownership mentioned.

Indeed, Republicans prattle about religious exemptions (state granted!) and natural-immunity based exemptions (state granted!)—but they have not the faintest urge to defend the natural, God-given right of self-ownership.

Enough then of the cheering for the ineffectual GOP and its front men and women, who arrive in the Idiocracy’s version of Rome, only to do nothing, decade after decade. Oh, yes, they turn in appearances on TV and before congressional committees; get lucrative book deals, and consolidate political and corporate power for a lifetime.

But as the West careens toward the Covid-centered anthill society, nobody identifies and defends the individual’s dominion over his body and his right to reject the Pharma-State’s Hemlock prescription for that body. As emphasized, Republicans’ case against Covid mandates indirectly capitulates to coercion.

Historically, this has certainly been the case. During an October 19 appearance on the “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” civil-rights attorney Harmeet Dhillon explained the genesis of the current COVID corporate tyranny. Business is allowed to screen out and reject employees based purely and solely on their Covid vaccine status. The GOP (RIP) has, over decades, authored and facilitated laws the outcome of which is the current corporate tyranny. This fact needs the widest publicity possible.

Meantime, we have the ruling class, an example being New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, boasting about having created an additional two classes of people in her diabolical democracy, where might makes right: the unvaccinated underclass (villains all) and the vaccinated upperclass (virtuous).

In similar vein, an Austrian chancellor revealed his plans to place Austria’s unvaccinated under house arrest. Stateside, Noam Chomsky, a progressive “intellectual,” wants to see the unvaccinated underclass reduced by the state to a “Hunger Games” type fight to survive: sequestered, waiting until dark to scrounge for scraps.
